Easiest Winter Bird Feeder.

Tried and tested and definitely gets the vote from us at Everwild Nature Club.

“If winter comes, can spring be far behind?” Percy Bysshe Shelley, Ode to the West Wind

Often during nature club, we will get little feathered visitors sitting in the branches watching us.

I'm convinced that the little robin we see is the same one every week. So I thought it would be a fab idea to leave some winter treats behind for him and his friends.

Winter Bird Feeder.

Things you'll need to gather:

  • Pine Cones

  • Bird Seed

  • Peanut Butter or Coconut oil

  • String

  • Spoon

  • Scissors

  1. Lather your pinecone in about 2 - 3 spoons of peanut butter or coconut oil.

  2. Sprinkle your pinecone in birdseed, or roll it gently in a plate of birdseed to get as much on as possible. Make sure they're all stuck on tightly.

  3. Tie a piece of string or wool around your pinecone so that you can hang it in your tree.

  4. Voila! You have successfully made the easiest birdseed feeder!
